Hope you are doing well and relaxing a little on this New Years' Day. :)
I know I have disappeared for a bit and I wanted to catch people up!
The past 22 months have been an absolute Whirlwind! I have pivoted so many times I feel like a giant couch.
Going Virtual
I managed to launch my virtual classes and shows and performed for over 10,000 students worldwide! (I even won a couple of awards for my efforts.)
I am currently doing private virtual lessons for those interested, as well as workshops for scout troops, birthdays, and libraries!!
Staying Inside
I also wrote a book (with my amazing partner, Andrea J. Burns)!
We would LOVE to share it with you for FREE!!!
I think some of us could use this right now. I hope you like it!
Feel free to let me know if you have any ideas I should add to it. :)
Getting Outside
And then.... I launched my bubble dance party company www.foamatyourhome.com and had some Good Clean Fun with families and camps all summer long.
>> I am looking to fill my spring and summer schedule, so please reach out and book while time slots are still available!
Flexing My Creative Muscles
I went back to in-person magic workshops and balloon sculpting (for select clients) and got to create some truly amazing balloon installations.
A few fun examples: a 15-foot Spotted Lantern Fly, a 6-foot SpongeBob, the 9-foot letters for Stoney Brook University, a 9-foot Beast, an organic arch for a photo booth, and I helped Webster Hall have the largest NYE balloon drop in New York City!!
In April 2022, I will open up my calendar for more Balloon and Magic events, so if you want me to pencil you in, please contact me with any questions you have and I will do my best to get you taken care of! :)
All That to Say...
All things considered, I think I am doing ok.
And I am looking forward to the next year to see where all of this will lead. :)
From my family to yours, I wish you health, laughter, and joy for 2022.
John
